The collective
Ten musicians, one mission: keep people dancing. Born in Geneva from the studios of jazz and the late-night clubs of the rive gauche, G-Funk Collective rebuilds the greatest funk, soul and disco standards from the ground up — with a punchy three-piece horn section, twin vocals and a rhythm section that refuses to sit down.
The sound
Think 1976 meets 2024: vintage Rhodes, slap bass and crisp horn stabs welded to a modern groove. A repertoire that runs from "September" and "Le Freak" to Vulfpeck and Bruno Mars — arranged for the dancefloor, not the museum.
